Setup SMS Filtering on iOS
Step 1: Click on "Set up" next to SMS filtering to get started.

Step 2: Click 'Next' to proceed.

Step 3: Click on "Settings > Messages".
Please note that for iOS 17 and below, you can skip this step. Your Settings app will directly show a list of apps and you can scroll down and select 'Messages'.

Step 4: This will launch the Settings app. Scroll down and click on 'Apps' > 'Messages'.

Step 5: After clicking on Messages, scroll down and click on Unknown & Spam.

Step 6: Toggle "Filter Unknown Senders" if it is disabled. Click on ScamShield under 'SMS Filtering' > Enable.
Please note that if you have other anti-virus or anti-scam apps that allow you to filter SMSes, you cannot enable more than one app under this feature. This is an iOS limitation.

Step 7: ScamShield should now be enabled to filter SMSes.

Step 8: In your ScamShield home screen, you will be able to see SMS filtering is now active.

To check for messages which have been filtered by ScamShield, you may check your Junk Messages inbox for SMSes tagged with a label called "Filtered by ScamShield".
